Would you like to be part of the International Roundnet Federation (IRF) board and lead Roundnet as a sport forwards on a global level? Nominations are now open!
Nominate yourself via this google form
You can find out more about what the IRF does here, but effectively the board oversees the running of the sport of Roundnet on a global level, managing volunteer committees to work on different initiatives to grow the sport and support the national governing bodies that are members of the IRF.Â
Those wanting to nominate themselves need to be satisfied that they will be able to commit to a voluntary role on the board of the IRF, which will involve a varying workload, monthly or more regular meetings and weekly voluntary tasks.Â
You must be a British Roundnet member (via Fwango - link here) to nominate yourself.Â
The process:
Each NGB can submit one nominee to the European Roundnet Association (EURA). One nominee will then be selected by a vote amongst the EURA member countries to be the European Region IRF Board Member.Â
British Roundnet Nominee next steps:
If you nominate yourself via the form and there is more than one nominee, a vote within the membership of British Roundnet will occur on the 5th October running until October 6th at 7pm.Â
British Roundnet will then put forward the nominee with the most votes to EURA. This nominee will then be competing with the individual nominees from each other EURA member countries with a vote for NGBs to fill out concluding on 13th October.Â
All people who vote for a nominee must be members of British Roundnet.
Important dates:
British Roundnet nominations close 5th October at 12pm; and
British Roundnet membership vote (if more than one nominee) opens 5th October at 7pm and closes on 6th October 7pm.
