Meanwhile, Sayts in the Park, comprised of J. Park & F. Sayyedd, continued their impressive run with a second third-place finish of the season so far. They beat to bromnze M. Garcia & D. Almeida, known as Loosey Goosey, who secured a commendable fourth place.
In the Open Competitive division, claiming the top spot were the pairing of J. Richards & A. Di Gerlando (A&J) winning in the final set of three 21-18. D. Loveland & G. Haddon, representing [Law] Net Domination were on the receiving end of the loss who fought back in the second set 21-12 but ultimately couldn't make it stick.
Rounding out the podium in the Open Competitive division were O. Titheradge & H. Hiscocks, affectionately known as [SOU] Mario and Luigi. Their tenacity and perseverance were rewarded with a third-place finish, highlighting their potential as rising stars in the world of roundnet.
With the conclusion of yet another thrilling sanctioned event tournament, we can't wait to see many of the same teams in action at the 2024 British Roundnet University Championships on the 16th of March where the infamous University Shield is up for grabs.
